Just apply acetone to Super Glue that is on bare wood. It will soften and dissolve Super Glue, and then it can be wiped off with a rag. Dab nail polish remover with acetone on globs of Super Glue that are stuck to finished wood floors. You want to use only enough to dab on the glue glob. Otherwise the acetone in the remover may affect the finish on the wooden flooring. Allow the dissolving Super Glue to be gently absorbed into an old piece of terry cloth. Cut down the glob of Super Glue carefully using a hobby knife or else the best alternative is trim little slices of glue off until you are nearly at floor level. Then use high-grit sandpaper, from 100 grit to 600 grit, and sand off the rest. Be careful not to sand into the finish of the wooden floor. Use a putty knife to carefully scrape off the rest.

You can use nail polish remover to clean it up. Though when you say hardwood, is that just a plain wood floor or does it have varnish on? because obviously the nail polish remover will take the varnish off the wood to if you use that.

So if your floor is varnished you will have to use warm water and soap. Let it soak for a while and you should find the glue softens up and you should be able to wipe it off.

if your floor is engineered hardwood it will have an aluminum oxide finish. if it is natural wood it will probably have a polyurethane finish. either way you will probably have to fix the blemish after scraping it off with a razor blade.
