charity fund raising ideas for a bank?

Hello, I work in a high street bank, and were community based so I am looking for ways to raise money for children in need.

despite the obvious ideas of robbing the joint, can I have some serious suggestion's of what we can do?

We have done cakes and Coffee mornings and they work well.

Oh and my boss as offer to match £ for £ what we can make so please help!

Ideas are really appreciated, thanks

A pound for a pound...That's right our bank will give to (charity) one pounds for every one that you lose.

Weigh in this week. At the end of the month, we will donate your "lost pounds" to (charity). And if you happen to find some extra pounds during the month, we hope you will donate them as well.

(BTW have some cakes and coffee while you are waiting for the weigh-ins)

If your positions at the bank are dealing with the public, would you be permitted to dress up in Hallowe'en costumes, and have a contest? Each of you have a jar at your station, and customers vote by putting money in the jars - or have a central area with jars labeled with snapshots of each of you.

If your positions at the bank are NOT dealing with the public, would you be permitted to have jeans days, where for a fee (like a £) you could wear jeans to work that day? We do that at our office as a fundraiser for the United Way.

Other fundraisers we use at the office include auctions - and some of the most popular items are use of the boss's reserved parking spot for a month!
