Is Water Supply Pipe Cover worth the money?

I have just purchased Water Supply Pipe Cover from Homeserve. I have a 28 day cooling off period. However, I am now wondering whether it is worth purchasing it. I understand that it is insurance and therefore only going to pay if something goes wrong with the water supply pipe. However, won't the water board come and fix the pipe? Any useful info that you feel I need to consider would be appreciated.

Update:

Renegade, what makes you think it is waste of money? It perhaps could be, I just you to explain why you think it is.

The water board only covers the pipe work up to the outside stopcock

usually in the footpath outside the property any pipe work beyond this is

the responsibility of the householder or sometimes the landlord,if you think

you are able to repair any problem otherwise it might be worth the cover

for peace of mind.you must remember that the pipe work outside could

be under a path and is properly about half a metre below ground level

before it enters the house plas the pipe does not necessarily come

    directly into the house

I went on their site and read what was covered and it seems like cheap insurance for peace of mine. What caught my eye was the fact the your water line is cover from your tap to where your responsibility ends, which means to me that if you don't have this coverage and something happens, the water board will only repair up to a certain point and you pick up the rest, which could cost you a small fortune.
