How do you add staves for a short solo in Sibelius 5.2?
I am arranging a song for an SATB acappella chorus and want to add a short (10 measure) solo to the beginning, with the chorus singing underneath, but don't need the staff for the soloist to extend beyond the first 10 measures. I did it once before but cant remember how!

Easiest way - add 10 measures at the beginning for the entire chorus,plus a solo line (unless this solo can be expressed on one of the other parts). Then HIDE the measures that you do not need. Page looks fine - and the underlying measures are *there* just no visible, if you need them for anything else.
