Will Australia drop Ponting for Sydney if he fails again in the second innings?

He can't score runs to save his life, every dismissal has been caught either in the slips or by the wicketkeeper and his team is disintegrating around him. He was given Michael Beer by the selectors but doesn't seem to want him and his captaincy seems to rely on waving his arms around a lot and changing the field after every delivery. If Australia go down to a massive defeat in this Test and if he fails with the bat will he be dropped for Sydney?

No I don't think so at all. I think he should step down as captain at the end of the series though. His time is over.

I've written more about it in my blog. If you have a moment please visit it and have a quick browse. Would be much appreciated. Thanks.

In Sydney you can benefit from the organic beauty. From unspoilt beaches to community gardens and, of course, the sparkling harbour, Sydney is just a city worth visited and with hotelbye you will have the opportunity to do that. The Sydney Harbour Bridge or "Coathanger," whilst the people call it's among the places you shouldn't miss in your journey here. This place was the city's best-known landmark prior to construction of the Opera House. Supported by enormous dual piers at each conclusion, it was built-in 1932 and stays the world's greatest steel arch bridge, connecting the harbour's north and south shores in one curve rising 134 metros over the water. Along their length run two railway lines and nine counters for road traffic, the direction of which may be diverse in accordance with traffic flow. Also, to master about the exciting history of the bridge's structure you are able to visit the memorial in the south-eastern pier.

Tricky...don't forget Aussie can't "bounce back" per se as Australia are (I think) ranked five in the World and have been playing poorly for a while now.Two choices.Stick with him for the last one,if by then they cannot win the Ashes....or...go for some new blood looking into the future.I would go second option, let Ponting play State cricket and regain his batting form.

To be fair, the wicket was perfect for us,just like one in England...what an own-goal....

The thing is he would not have played in this match because of his injury but the vice captain isn't exactly in the best form either so i think he will be captain till the end and then he will step down & the coach sacked.

Why not drop him they did it to the captain Bill Lawry back in 1969 with one test to play.

and the guy deserves one more chance to prove..

he might just as well do it
