Genital mutilation; when is it acceptable?
Under what circumstances other than religion is genital mutilation of an infant acceptable. Other than of course if it needs to be done to relieve the infant of physical suffering. I believe this to be a complete degradation of the human condition. I would like to hear some views, and I thank you all in advance.

I think that reply was immature, I clearly stated infants and I believe if you have a child you do what ever you can to protect it, if a God says as soon as you meet this little bundle you have to hack at its genitalia; can you honestly tell me as a human being you would not be appalled at such a thought. Your selfish sexual preferences are not needed for this answer.

i think genital mutilation is only acceptable under the circumstances you already provided, and if the person in question is old enough to give their consent. which i guess they're not since you said infant. so never. lol

Never.
a study was made that the foreskin has many many biological purposes.
in sex for example, it helps lubricate the penis, absorbs vaginal secretion and since hormones are released that are associated with bonding, you are basically cutting off this important sex affect.
the foreskin also helps protect the penis from infections.
genital smell is human phenomenon, we all can get it and, it's all about hygiene, it just depends who doesn't take showers.

There have been several studies that show that circumcision is good. There is a smaller chance of STD's and that their not as sex-crazed at puberty. but hey if your gonna chop off a baby's penis there is something wrong with you...

Circumcision. I wouldn't sleep with a man who wasn't. Youre going to get both sides on this . BORING . Some believe in it other dont blah blah blah , thats the views , it never changes , you are either for it or against it .
