Are you writing about celebrities or Astronomy?!? The answer is dependent on if you will even get your foot in the door of a publishing firm. Celebrities stories are everywhere nowadays, so I wouldn't waste your time on something that wont be published. There is an overflow already in that genre. Now if you are writing about the subject of Astronomy you will only get published if you have creditability such as being an Astronomer.

Send it to the publishers, ask them to read it, and then they can publish it and take the risk of printing a thousand copies or a million.
