Birth after C section question?

My son was born almost 4 years ago now and he was 9p3o and breach so they decided to cut him out. Im 22 weeks pregnant now and i wasnt woried about having a natural birth untill my doctor said theres a 1 in 200 chance my scar could rip and kill the baby so im booking in for a csection anyway just incase but im hoping it will decide to come out early. Anyway my question is, if i get pains around my scar when i sneeze or move the wrong way does this mean theres a good chance ill need the c section? i know its normal for round ligament pain and that the ,uscle is stretching but if i push a certain way i can feel the muscle hurt so if im in labour will it rip? i would worry about pushing to hard. The doctor said 1 in 200 is a fair chance ill be fine going natural but to me 1 in 200 is roughly 1 woman in every 2 or 3 months in our hospital! and i think thats alot!

It sounds like you are experiencing what's know as adhesion pains. Adhesions are areas of scar tissue that attach to other organs and when you move suddenly they can cause a pulling or burning feeling. Scar tissue forms after surgeries. This is mostly a normal process. Some people have it worse than others. I've had 2 c-sections and experience this from time to time. It has no bearing on your ability to deliver naturally. I'm actually going to be trying for a Vaginal birth after 2 csections (vba2c). Only you can make that choice.

I also still get alot of pain, when I sneeze ect...

it hurts like crazy but goes away quick.

my baby boy is 14 months old, he will be 15 months when my next baby is born and my drs dont see a problem with me "trying" for VBAC first..

my mate told me that she knew someone who did tare while trying to give birth, apprently it was messy but both mother and baby faired well.

OUCH,.... im freaking out because I didn't know the baby could ahve a chance of dieing if I tare.. omg

I was told the chance of that was 0.5. i was gonna try for a VBAC but my son is 16 months will be 19 when this baby is due so i'm not risking it either ;) but for the pain around your c-scar i'm glad i'm not the only one I get weird pulling pain & some times sharp pain my OB said it was fine. if something was to rupture you would know. good luck ;)
