Out door screen house?
i would like to build and out door screen house in my backyard but have a few questions. first are there any permits required ( that may be a stupid question ). And im not sure what to use as a roof. im open to making a peek kind of idea or maybe just a one way slant like roof where the water will drain only one way. anyone got any ideas? please and thank you in advance.

yes, a slant type roof sounds good. what size are you planning ? sheets of 4 ft. by 8 foot exterior plywood, using 2inch by 4 inch uprights to hold the roof. attach the screening to them and what ever you may want as a floor. good building and good luck

the way i would do it
would be to make a simple deck
good long wood crosswise and lay planks over them
next take used screen doors and scoot them together
make one be the actual door
for a roof i would use a green tarp slightly raised on one side
have it drain away from the door!
