Has anyone had the 4-D scan done and is it worth it?

I mean not only the experience, but is it worth paying £95 too?

A lot of my friends have had it done and have really recommended it to us saying that it is an amzing experience and you see your baby looking like he/she will when it's born. There are pictures online with the scan image of the face and a photo of when they were born and the likeness is amazing ...

My question back to you is £95, where on earth do they do them that cheap?? The cheapest I have found is £139, and they go up to £200!

yes definately, £95 is a good price. i had one done at 28 weeks with my first it was £120 i got lots of photos and a dvd of the whole scan, it was worth every penny its a lovely keepsake to have and im pleased i had it. i will be having another one done for my second pregnancy next week i will also be 28 weeks this time too, its the same package in the same clinic but a bit more expensive as they have raised their prices since the last time, but its still worth it in my eyes and i cant wait.

Yeah totally go for it its well worth the price.

Me and my boyfriend decided not to find out the sex of the baby but I thought we were having a boy. But I was looking at the pics of the 4D scan a couple of days ago and I can now see how much detail you get to see in them. DD is so like those pics. Even her personality. In the DVD we got with ours you can see DD sticking her tongue out and wiggling her toes so much of what she does now.

Go for it. It is a great experience.

I never had it done but my sister in law had it done because it was her first baby and she said while it was neat to see, she would never shell out the money to have it done again. She said why bother when you get a regular ultrasound done as part as your routine prenatal exam. I guess if you have the extra money and really wanted it done then go for it. If not then it's money you could put toward something for the baby.

I would get it done. With my daughter we saw that she had my Boyfriends nose and ears at 20 weeks! It is amazing and so much fun to!!!
