my officejet 4500 printer keeps saying no paper?
it will print on a4 paper,but when i put photo paper it says no paper ,i changed the paper settings but always get load paper and press ok ,the solution centre says no paper too

it would suggest the paper sensor is not working, on most printers there is a very small sensor that detects if there is paper in the feed tray (or not) and this may be stuck. often there is dust (often paper) in the sensor that stops it from registering.
you can try cleaning with compressed air (do not spray air on to or in to the ink carts) and see if it will dislodge any debris, if not take the printer to a technician, get a quote before any work commences, it is often cheaper to replace the whole printer than repair a damaged component. If it is under warranty then return it for a warranty repair which should be free.

Push the big block of paper well down into the place were it goes in. If it still says that it has no paper, put in some more.
