a note in a peach stone?

around 1947 i found a note in a peach stone when i bit into the peach ,it was put in the stone by a young lady Jose Calderoni from Ravena Italy working on the peach orchard , a colonel loyd lowles went to ravena to me the girl & was made welcome by the whole town, the note said in Italian ( WHO KNOWS WHAT FORTUNES MAY BEFALL TOMORROW) any one this village or the people there or this story ...?

    That's an amazing story, so much so that it deserves to be told. Yahoo Answers is probably not the best place to try to track down anyone from Ravenna who might remember the incident as the majority of users are young and American/British. Trying to find out if Ravenna has a local newspaper and asking them to print a letter might be more productive, and local TV stations might be interested too.
