can you have an iphone and an ipod synced with the same itunes library?

i already have an ipod touch but i really want to get an iphone. if i get an iphone can i sync it with my already existing itunes library or does it need its own library. i want all the stuff on my ipod to be on the iphone if i get it so can their be more than one device synced with the same library?

    Yes. You can have 5 authorized computers and as many iPods as you want per computer.

    Yes, you can sync as many as you want, but with iCloud now you don't have to sync at all..
