has anyone given birth in a birthing pool?if so, what was it like?
i like the idea but want to get some opinions first

I gave birth on 22nd May in one.
I really liked it, its far easier to move around and you can get in all sorts of positions that you can't on a bed.
you are still able to have gas and air in the but if you want a epidural you will have to get out as it is not safe.
I would recommend trying it, if you don't like it you can get out and you haven't lost anything! :-)
