Great places to hide a diary?

I need a really creative place to hide my dairy that nobody will guess... it was in my sock drawer but mum went in their too often :/

Since almost EVERYONE is saying in between mattress, it should tell you to NOT hide it there because that's the first place anyone will look. This might sound weird, but my friend had a large dictionary that had a rectangular cutout and she hid her diary inside the dictionary. Maybe you could do that too, best idea ive seen.

Go to a used bookstore, and buy the most boring book that you can find. When you get home, hollow out the center of the pages. Then, you can put your diary inside the boring book, and place it on the bookshelf. I used to hide my "Playboys" inside dinosaur books.

In between mattress, under furniture, in clothes, ect.

Depending on how big it is...
If small, in an old tennis shoe.
If large, under mattress.

in your sock drawer but use duct tape to tape it to the top part or under a table also using duct tape.
