HOLLYOAKS: About Father Francis & Carmen?
This is only personal speculation, but do you think that Father Francis is above board ?
He doesn't seem to be acting in a very priestly way.
Lounging around in a spa & kissing parishioners.
I'm beginning to think that he is a con-artist, posing as a priest, just to get Carmel to raise money for the African orphans.
Once she's raise loads of money, I have a feeling that 'Father Francis' will scarper with it.
Do you think that I am I wrong, or right ?
Do you have any gossip about where this storyline is going ?

Good point but I think he is just meant to be a priest. I've had a look on Digital Spy and there's nothing to indicate that he isn't meant to be a priest. I think the whole point is he is just meant to be testing Carmel's faith:

Well I have to admit this has crossed my mind! But he is so sweet so I do hope he is genuine. I think he is just a priest who fell in love with the wrong girl. However I do agree it's a bit unprofessional to be "lounging around in a spa and kissing parishioners!"
I think it's good if he can stop Carmel being a nun... it's a riduculous idea!

Nope, he's a conman pretending to be a clergyman. No concept what he's taking part in at with Carmel. i concept that he replaced into asking her to return away with him, yet while she does then she's sure to confirm who he somewhat is. that's actual unlikely to end nicely for them. On Friday it gave the look of he replaced into having a metamorphosis of heart, because of the fact he informed 'somebody' on the telephone that he needed out. i ask your self who he's working with & despite if or no longer they're going to easily permit him drop out like that? Very interesting ! sounds like Tony is directly to him.

That's what I thought about Keiron, snogging teenage boys in games of truth and dare and being drunk at fashion shows, but he really was supposed to be a genuine believer/saint. I think the writers just don't "get" religious characters.
