POLL: Pokemon's natures when battling.?

Hey guys,

I was wondering what is the nature you normally use for your pokemon when doing competitive battling?:

1. If your pokemon has a high base special attack do you get a:

modest/timid natured one?

2. If your pokemon has a high base attack do you get a:

adamant/jolly natured one?

3. Do you choose a speed nature (timid, jolly etc.) over an attack/special attack nature if the pokemon has a base speed of 100+ ?

Thanks for your opinion guys :)

    1 + 2 + 3 = Depends entirely on the pokémon.

For sweepers, I go for +Speed. It is very important to be able to strike first, especially for pokémon without any bulk to fall back on. For tanks, it depends on their moveset and how I choose to use them. If it is built primarily offensive, and if they can outrun their counters that way, I naturally go for the +Speed nature. If it can outrun its counters either way, or if it has a reliable method of healing available, I choose the +Atk/SpA nature for extra power. This also goes for base speed 100+'s, as some seemingly slow(er) threats can pose a big danger when wearing a choice scarf, or having a Speed boost behind it.

1 depends. if I scarf it, usually modest. if I need to outspeed something, timid. sometimes even timid scarf on stuff like politoad. I just make sure I outspeed certain stuff and if I don't need timid, I use modest. Or quit on those slow pokemon.

2 see above except change to adamant and jolly

3 also depends on scarf or not. I usually choose to max speed out (I use timid latios and thundurus and jolly garchomp) but I use modest on volcarona who can boost speed.

also use naive and hasty sometimes.

It depends on your strategy. Is it very possible to max out your stat and alter down your stats also with berries. Timid for attacking first. Jolly for attacking first. Jolly because sp attack really doesn't matter.
