You can check Cebu Pacific website for flight fares to Cebu.
Cebu is less hectic than Manila and beaches are closer to the city
You can visit Bohol as well, which is about 2 hour ferry boat ride from Cebu.

I do recommend not to stay on manila rather explore the natural beauty of Cebu if you really plan to visit this place and also don't forget to get a glimpse on the chocolate hills in bohol and some white beaches too. Good luck in your trip!!!

If youre looking for some real adventure, dont just stay in Manila. All you're gonna see in Manila are malls and people and malls. If you're gonna go south, go to the islands. if youre going north, climb the mountains or ride the kalesas.
Look for Cebu Pacific flights, it's cheap.
