I'm really enjoying 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' by Stephen Chbosky - can anyone recommend similar books?

Melvin Burgess - Smack (Drugs and crappy parents and teens trying to make it on their own.)

Brian James - Pure Sunshine (Also drugs. I don't remember much about this one other than I really liked the vibe I got from it, kinda like perks.)

Ellen Wittlinger - Hard Love (Awkward loner guy meets completely unattainable girl. Really a good story.)

Anonymous - Go Ask Alice (This one is a classic so to speak. Pretty good one about drugs and how they can take a person down.)

Rob Thomas - Rats Saw God (Eccentric main character who is emotionally damaged.)

Abram Shalom Himelstein-Tales of A Punk Rock Nothing has "everything you could want out of a novel: a chase scene, a sex scene, plus angst-ridden critiques of American society"

Source(s): I read, plus Perks of Being a Wallflower is awesome.
