real Gibson SG's come with Real Gibson Pickups... I would highly recomend the Gibson 57 classics(PAF) or the Gibson Burstbucker's II and III for the bridge...you would be suprised what a set of real Gibson pickups can do for a Ephiphone..

No, real SG's do not come with EMG's. Personally I don't care for EMG's at all, but if you're into metal and feel the need to do a pinch harmonic every other note I suppose they work well for that. P90's will not fit properly into a humbucker route. I'd just get a good set of Seymour Duncan's. My favorite combo is a Pearly Gates in the bridge and a '59 in the neck. To me these sound far superior to Gibson humbuckers.

Id either get a Pair of EMG 81/85, Seymour Duncan Blackouts or a pair of Dimarzios. Some SG models in general come stock with EMGs but not many.
