I arrive in KL on Saturday 12:30hrs and fly out to India Sunday 06:30hrs. Where to stay?
The most likely bet is to stay at the Tune hotel overnight, rather that just go in to KL and then try to get back for 05:00 Sunday.
Anyone got any better suggestions/hotels etc

no better suggestions unless you're into sleeping on the floor in a noisy airport. i assume u are using the LCCT.
(i'm actually looking for someone to share a room if it's next week)

The best option is still to stay at Tune Hotel LCCT. Since there isn't much activity you could do until your next flight if you chose to stay at Tune Hotel LCCT, you may take a bus from LCCT to KL Sentral and then from there you can go anywhere in Kuala Lumpur city centre. Then at night take the bus again from KL Sentral back to Tune Hotel, LCCT. If you are either arriving or departing from KLIA, then just take the free shuttle bus from KLIA to LCCT and vice versa.

Tune hotel can be a good option is you get your booking at the right price, however on a recent trip through to London we overnighted at Tune and it cost us AU$50...no aircon, no breakfast, no wifi
On the way back from London we stayed at Concorde Hotel (near KLIA)
Free breakfast
Free aircon
Free Wifi
Free swimming pool
Free shuttle to and from KLIA
All for AU$55 ... Just $5 more than Tune.
You can get a shuttle from LCCT to KLIA for RM$2.00
If you do stay at Concorde and want some good Malay/Indian food, walk out the front gate and about 150mtrs down the road is a great makan place. Good cheap food.

Since your flight out on Sunday is so early innthe morning at 05:30 hrs, I suggest a stay at the airport hotel or one at nearby Cyber Jaya. You need to check in by 04:30 [ or confirmation and luggage drop if checkin on-line]. This gives time to go to KLCT if you want... and get back to the hotel before 12 midnight Saturday.... this assumes that you arrive and depart at LCCT. If you depart at KLIA, then same thing... If you also arrive at KLIA, you may be able to drop your luggage at the storage service and go downtown to KLCT.....return in the evening, retrive your luggane at sleep at the airport until 04:00 hr or so..... [at KLIA there are lots of benches ,,,, free facilities for washing..... and restaurants and fastfood centers. So, do what your situation permits.
