If i reset my router can i still use it?

Can i reset my modem and use internet straight away or do i have to do all the installation stuf again?

Update:

i mean a hard reset ie hodling the reset button at the back of the modem for ten seconds

also ive realised ive written router instead of modem, sorry for the confusion

    U have to reprogram it again. I've done that before because I forgot the password to the wifi.

    If you do a soft reset then it should just power down and back on again and let you get back to what you were doing. If you do a hard reset however, it will clear all the configuration data and you'll have to set it up again.

    Yes, you still can use it but is gonna be restored at Default settings... any changes that you had made will be deleted...

    no it wont work anymore you will have to take it to the service department of your ISP
