lip piercing - can i put in a see through stud straight after?

i really want to get my lip done (bottom lip) however me being in my last year of school doesnt help after its pierced instead of having a silver stud in for weeks on end would i be able to use a see through stud ? so i can wear it in school.

i am in christmas holidays now, i have 2 weeks and 3 days ??

    No. Plastic isn't good for healing. Also, they pierce you with a longer lebret bar because your lip will swell. Once you're healed up you can wear something clear. I was told when I got my lip pierced that I had to wait 3 weeks to change. Though, I did change mine after 2 weeks cause I lost one of the studs down the drain...I did put in metal though. If all else fails wear a clear bead with a metal bar. It's not as noticable as a metal one.

    2 weeks is enough time for it to heal up enough for you to change the jewelry lol

    just leave the silver stud in until you have to go back to school and then change it to the clear.

    just dont play with it or keep changing it. if you want to put the clear one in, put it in and leave it in for atleast a month and clean it ALOT!
