how much can my partner earn,if i claim jsa,they work 6 hours?
and are they allowed any expenses

They will earn £36.48 on minimum wage as they will pay no tax however your joint JSA claim (if it'snot joint you will be prosecuted for benefit fraud if your claim is income based, i.e. you've been on it for >6 months) will be reduced and you will be £10 better off than you are currently.
If they're not on minimum wage it is impossble for me to say how much he will earn for 6 hours work. Take his hourly pay and multiply it by 6! Your joint JSA will be reduced to compensate +£5 extra until he earns over £110 pw.
He will not recieve any help toward travel, if he has been on JSA for a long time he will be entitled to a return to work or job grant of £100. Crisis loans can help out until his first paycheque.
