Fabric Conditioner not draining from tray/filling with water?

I've tried putting a hot wash on and a hot wash with Calgon. I've cleaned the tray out,but doesn't seem to help. Any ideas? I looked in the manual and it says if it's not rinsing properly to check the filter on the front, but neither of us can get it off!

It's a Beko

Update:

Thanks Nigel, have done that. And Frank thanks, that's really helpful

If the filter on the front of the machine (usually behind a cover) is stuck try using a pair of pliers to get a better grip on the bit to unscrew it. But beware if you have never cleaned it out before, place a thick towel underneath first as a lot of water may come out. Take the whole fitting out and clean thoroughly and replace tightly but do not over tighten.

Another thing you could do is to put the machine on to it's hottest wash empty of clothes and any detergents and let it run the full course. This will clean the machine out and help to flush out pipes etc.

take the tray out completely and look to see if the hole is blocked on the bottom

all the conditioner is sucked out of the tray using capillary action and the hole at the bottom gets clogged up

I doubt its the filter if your powder disperses ok ?

I would try Bi-Carb on a boil wash put it in your drawer and in the drum

I do this twice a year with mine it gets rid of any build up
