Second season blues for Di Matteo?
Will Roberto go the way of others, or will he still be in place at Chelsea FC the end of the next season?

He'll finish his first season and wont achieve a second for no other reason than Chelsea will force through a deal with Pep

I think he will be gone by the end of the season. I am a Chelsea fan and I am happy that RDM has been given the job. However I just feel after last season the pressure will be far too much and he will not be successful in his second season I can't see Chelsea making the top 6 this season due to too much pressure and expensive signings not as good as they are made out to be.

Much as I admire what Di Mateo acheived last season, I think he might be in for a rough ride.
Even a great many of their fans admit the Pensioners are an aging group of players and this is what AVB tried to address during his time at Stamford Bridge. Unfortunately dropping Lampard and trying to re-vamp the defence without John Terry's influence done him in.
When senior players have too much say in how a team is run, the manager is usually in deep trouble. I hope Di Mateo survives any dressing room turmoil and is allowed to make the changes necessary.
