large rear door opening suitable for wheelchair?

I am a wheelchair user driving a WAV Kangoo with eletric ramps and doors and I hate the car to bits. I hate it's looks the way it drives the van type appearance. I want another car but what I need is a car with a huge whole back door openbing sidewise and then a low sill to the ground. I drove along and spotted one but can't remember what car and model it was. The alternative is a store box on top of the roof for the chair that picks up the chair but I really need a power chair. I'd be using a long folding ramp to run the wheelchair up at the rear end and fit it in (or get a trailer but where do I park?) Somewhere out there is a car waiting for me I need you guys to tell me what it is!

Thanks

I've seen on tv that a women got a Toyota truck that was automatic with putting the driver in the car, along with all the hand tools and a thing to out the chair away while the driver was sitting in the driver seat. Maybe contact Toyota to see if they can do that for you too?

ever thought about a good second hand london taxi which has already been adapted for wheel chair users ,the doors on these cabs are wide enough, and i am sure there will be some already out there going for sale, the london taxi cab are better looking than the van type you are using, personally i would drive a london taxi cab every day they are sturdy and well built, and being diesel you have no bother with starting as they are very reliable engines, worth a try? try searching for used disabled london taxi cabs for sale .

If somebody has constrained use of their hands and better physique, they won't have the means to do it in any respect devoid of guidance from different human beings or gadgets put in on the door itself. yet whilst they're utilising a motorized chair, they are able to lower back as much as a door and push it open with the chair. Or, if a knob desires turning they are able to get close sufficient to tutor the knob together as advancing the chair in the process the door. All of it is somewhat, very puzzling of direction, so in places that have not have been given federally or state mandated get entry to for the disabled, human beings could place self belief in individuals to assist them.
