My silver arowana stays in the top corner?
my arowana is about 5 inches . its a 100 gallons with just a few other fish like barbs and rocks and wood at the bottom.
He doesn't go to the bottom of the tank just stays in the top corner. and when i put my hand on the glass he swims very fast to other top corner of the tank and never seems to swim back and forth.
sometimes when i light is off i see him swim back and forth a couple times when im far away from my tank.
whats wrong with my arowana?
the temp stays around 81 F - 83 F

He may find the light in your tank to be too intense. My black moore goldfish did the same for a while until I got a dimmer light that still provided heat/uv rays. Providing a hiding place big enough for him to fit might also increase his activity. Also if he's a new addition he may just be adjusting to his new tank.

Arowana's alway swim from the middle to the top of the water line. If you arowana is swimming in the corner, then the tank is too bright. Keep the tank lights off.
