The moon, water in our bodies and astrology?

So if the moon can effect the tides and large bodies of water, can it effect the water in the human body? Humans are more than 60% water, right? So is that 60+ percentage of us that is water effected by the moon at all?

I've heard mixed info on this. Some say it's bull. Some say the moon has an effect on us, but it's too small to mean anything and some say it does affect us. o.O

And if the moon does have an effect on the water in our bodies, what would it even do?

I know this probably belongs in the science section, but I'm asking here because A.) This was a very astrologically inspired question and B.) I want to hear some thoughts about what this might mean for astrology.

Thanks

Wow, there's plenty of fail right here. I critically advise you are taking a few institution physics courses. There's a lot more water to your swimming pool than there may be in your physique. Ever see tides in your swimming pool? Nope. The Moon does no longer affect you in anyway. Sure, the sun is just right for you. You want vitamin D. However that does not imply the constellation it's in when you had been born has anything to do with your persona. No, the other planets don't have anything to do with our orbits. Specifically no longer because of magnetism - gravity is the one force that works across tremendous distances like that, and it doesn't depend on the opposite planets - Earth would nonetheless be in it can be orbit if Jupiter disappeared. Do the math, it can be easy algebra - the sun is via a ways the drive preserving us in orbit. In the end, there's no proof for astrology at all.

I believe we are greatly affected by the energy of the moon. I have been observing people especially during the Full Moon and it has been very educational for me in learning astrology.

Since our Moon is the closest celestial body to earth, it is going to have the greatest intensity, especially when the Transiting Moon conjuncts one of our planets. When the moon conjuncts ones natal mars, there is often anger and even fighting because the Moon illuminates the energy of Mars enough that others can see its effects.

I call the Full Moon "a circus with a free ticket" because I have witnessed so many disturbances when the moon is hard aspecting ones natal planet(s). Again when the Moon hits Mars in hard aspect, I have found this unlocks the emotions and a normally "slow to anger" person can just "blow up" due to that strong energy of the moon.

So if the moon is strong enough to rule the tides, then it is strong enough to "rule" our emotions, at the very least when it hard aspects a natal planet. It is a "show for free" to really observe others during this time. I can hear the neighbors yelling and the noise level just goes UP during our Full Moon.

Another instigator of the moon's energy to upset others easily is if the Moon itself is being "hit" by the other planets and this makes the Full Moon more difficult for us to control our emotions. So if the Full Moon is in Aries (that is a good one to observe lol) And Mars is squaring our Moon, then the energy is heightened and the "yelling" often escalates into physical fighting.

I have learned more about astrology by observing the moon than all the many astrology books I have read in my lifetime. This is a practical application that greatly enhances the understanding of emotions, ruled by our Moon.

The Moon also rules our menstrual cycles. And when we are emotionally upset, there is often "bloating" due to the eating to calm ones emotions. So yes indeed. we are greatly affected by the energy of our moon. In Vedic Astrology the moon is considered the primary "planet" in the way we here in the western world consider our sun to be our most primary "planet." As the sun and moon are actually "luminaries" instead of "planets" but we still "call" them planets.

Hope this is helpful and enjoy reading your answers too. Good luck and bless you.

This is a science question but there is a lot of misconceptions about the moon. You need to read up about gravity then about tides.

The links below can explain a lot better than I can. Even if some of the claims are true, they are no evidence for astrology.

Edit: The world is waiting still for Amethyst33 to publish the results of her studies. I'm sure she collected data from around the world to verify these statements. If and when, the Nobel prize will be all her's.
