Astrology and twins (a bit of reading required)?

Just because you both are born on the same day doesn't mean everything will be exactly the same. You have to remember that despite being born under the same roof she will have different experiences outside the home than you.

Hmmm are you trying to say that ignorance is not a bliss? :)) If so I totally agree with you, but no matter how many philosophical question you are going to ask ppl with the 13th sign obsession will come again and again cause it seems easier to read or hear something that someone else made up and then to repeat it like a parrot with no valid arguments whatsoever instead of using a minimal effort to use their minds, to make some research, to open a book, to use google in order to gather some info so they can give a proper reasoning to their statement. Well you have to agree that the Astrology is a complex matter and it looks more like a fine tool to me. A tool which comprises at least two natural sciences - astronomy and math and requires some special skills from its practitioners - interpretation skills, gift of gab, vast general culture and psychological knowledge and/or intuition and lots of inspiration and passion ab astrology so they can combine all of the above and translate their knowledge into something meaningful for the non-astrologers like me. Instead of pondering on the matter if it is possible a 13th, 14th, 15th sign to exist, as a very lazy person with a mere idea what astrology is i just wait for the professional astrologers to discover them - so far no one is willing to announce such a revolutionary discovery and i presume that there are no sufficient proofs or nothing to be discovered whatsoever :P (Am i making any sense so far ? :)) ) Anyway if one has doubts that astrology is false he/she is very welcome to prove it otherwise its just a childish way to look "oh so very original" and alas ignorant.

This question is as old as St Augustine and has been answered here a couple of dozen times, but for those who may have missed it here goes: First I seriously doubt your statement that your twin was born one minute after you. In fact I seriously doubt you have a twin. When asked if she is an "identical twin" you reply: "Noooo, she's definitely not identical. "

What does that mean? Are you fraternal twins? If so, why didn't you say that? I suspect you don't know the difference. Twins can be born minutes apart to hours apart. I've NEVER heard of twins being born one minute apart. Ladies, think about that. Gentlemen, learn something about childbirth and then you think about it. You'll see my point.

Identical twins, in the biological sense, are not necessarily identical even though they have the same DNA. Identical twins can have birth marks on opposite sides, e.g. one on the right leg the other on the left leg. One identical twin can be left handed and the other right handed. In other words, there is no such thing is a 100% identical twin.

Now if the identical DNA can produce mirror images, why is it necessary that twins be identical in every way according to their birth chart? Why do they have to have the identical life experiences? Then who is to say they don't? Has there ever been a study on such things or are such notions simply accepted? Skeptics who demand studies for everything rarely, if ever, have any of their own.

Quite simply people do not react to external stimuli identically. Therefore identical twins are not going to experience identical events even simultaneous events the same way. This does not rule out astrology unless the skeptic who know no astrology at at all deems it true that astrology is 100% fatalistic - something no astrologer claims. Twins are two different people. If you don't understand what I'm saying, learn some astrology.

Degrees are not powerful. Degrees differentiate. Think about that, too. I can't teach astrology in a couple of paragraphs, and even if I could, there are no skeptics smart enough to learn it that way (or any other way.

That 1 minute difference could place certain planets into a different house, etc. which could/would account for the difference.

My twin sister was born 7 min before me and all my planets are in the 1st house and that house is Cancer. Hers were a lot different than mine and we are like night and day.

Does anyone ever think about the simplest and most likely reasons? That astrology is clearly false. Or is self deception the standard rule here?
