It is known that the Mayan calendar didn't account for leap years therefore it should have happened some time ago! There is no way a civilisation so young in astronomy and it's studies could predict something like this! The chance of the world ending tomorrow is just as likely as December!

No one believes in that anymore man.
The Mayan calender doesn't say that the world will end on 12/21/12, it just says that a certain cycle will end on that day, forgot what that cycle is called, but it's basically just a "year" in Mayan terms.
