Friendship compatibility vs. Relationship compatibility?

Do you think there is a difference when it comes to the astrological compatibility between just friends and between lovers? There doesn't seem to be a lot of info on this online.

I personally think there is a difference. You look for different things in your friends than you do with lovers. So it makes sense that signs you may not want as a lover could still be great friends.

What's your opinion?

What have you heard about the difference of astological friend compatibility and lovers compatibility?

    friendship ALWAYS wins!!..its easier to open up to a friend..whereas in relationship there is more fear of dissapointment and u dont want to lose them so always try to b at ure best or sumthing...friendship is essential in any relationship...someone u can count on when u really need them.

    love wont work without the qualities of good friendship.

    ive always felt dat love relationship gets complicated overtime...dan friendship one.

    Synastry is synastry. I compare all of one chart to all of the other chart. I do not pick and choose what I look at based on what I do or do not want to see. The house emphasis will be different for friendships and lovers. The interrpretation of aspects will also be different. But you still look at how all of one chart aspects the other.

    Personally, I wouldn't be lovers with someone I didn't consider a friend first. That could be my 7th house Aquarius speaking.

    I need a friendship otherwise there is no way I can get a relationship. I need to know the other to like him, I am not the type who falls in love first sight, and personally don't get those who do. Pisces guy did that and so did my ex, but maybe it's a female/male thing rather than Astrological? I have no idea. :)

    My bad Epic : yes, I've seen the two synastrys offered ..but it wasn't really a synastry, just a simple summary..

    I wouldn't trust it.
