My teacher purposely changed my grades, I didnt do any but he is putting in all my grades as if I did them?

So i've been looking at my grades and it seems that even as much of the science nerd as I am, I was behind. I was in a production that set be back quite a bit and so I had to make up work. I never got to tackle science and I had a D- grade. All of a sudden I noticed (without me cheating or anything) that all my grades were ful-filled to their max. I KNOW I didn't do any of the work and im just plain confused. I feel like it would be dis-honest for me to keep quite and not speak out, but I really dont want to get stuck with a D on my Strait A resimay I've had since 8th grade, he knows I work hard and try my best and actualy grasp the concepts and everything, But im not sure if I should tell him or not. If I do then he might A set my grade back and be suspisious that I changed it when he went out of the room on the computer, or B say no you did them, when I know I really didnt. I fear he is testing me to see if I come out clean or if this was just a gift. Im so confused and dont know what to do. But what I do know is that this wasent a mistake, he did it on purpose.

Ask him in private if he made a mistake with your grades. If he doesn't check, and says for sure he made no mistakes, let it go. Maybe he saw how hard you were trying and decided to give you a little boost. The worst that can happen is that he did make a mistake, and you go back down to your old average. At least you were honest, and you did it in private so if he did decide to give you a little boost, he isn't obligated to take it back because of someone else overhearing. Don't worry, there is always time for improving! :)

Here is what I would do:

Let's say it was a mistake if you come clean say that you noticed it and it changes then ask for extra credit all that work you actually need to do to earn that grade.

And let's say it is a gift say you love the offer but you want to work for it and ask if you could do the work to maintain that grade

If me, I would tell him. It's better than just keeping quiet and get all guilty of what you didn't earn by yourself, right? After all, honesty really is the best policy. It's like giving the extra money that the cashier mistakenly gave you back.

I know you'll do what's best for you. Good luck in sorting this out :)
