You can lighten flow a few ways long-term such as by using herbal treatments like chaste tree tincture, short-term coffee can help (vasoconstrictor so constricts blood vessels in the uterus) but not by much, the only way to make a significant decrease in flow is using Tranexamic Acid...but even then you need to take this three times a day for the first three days of your period for it to work.

It's more a matter of management - obviously you could get a menstrual cup as these hold a lot more flow than tampons and pads combined, they also have light suction so don't leak like tampons or pads, plus they're safer than tampons and can be worn for 12 hours so more convenient. If sticking with tampons and/or pads just be sure to use correct absorbency and take spares, checking in the bathroom often and feeling for leaks - if you have them wear period panties, specifically the leak-proof type, but if not tight-fitting synthetic underwear may be helpful short-term.

Avoid salt and keep tampons on hand at all times go to the bathroom regularlly and if u are dancing wear a pad w/ the tampon just alight one though

Well you can't make your period light. Be sure to buy super absorbend tampons ( I feel Tampax Pearl works the best) and you can also use mini pads just in case you leak you won't stain and be embarrased.

You can not. I had very heavy flows at ateen. Try a heavy flow tampon and a panty liner. And bring a tampon and panty liner with you.
