Are there any sci-fi books or movies from a robot's point of view?

I'm playing a Facebook game Robot Rising and this made me wonder, is there any science fiction written from the point of view of robots? Perhaps they could have cities, factions, conflicts, and they would of course have some human traits. If you know of any such books or movies (or even games), please share!

Isaac Asimov wrote a few. "Robots & Empire" is largely from the point of view of two robots. Also see his short stories, "That Thou Art Mindful of Him" and "The Bicentennial Man"

Roger MacBride Allen wrote a trilogy based on ideas that Asimov discussed with him shortly before he died. These are "Caliban", "Inferno" and "Utopia".

you would like Harry Harrison"the immaculate-metallic Rat". The"starting up" sequence by making use of Isaac Asimov is mind-blowing also.a minimum of one in each and every of this sequence became made right into a movie."I,robotic" is the call,i imagine. bypass to Wikipedia and seem for novels about or featuring robots.examine Google on a similar or similar foundation. i'm certain there are distinct more advantageous.in case you inspect technology Fiction Authors, per chance that can help besides.

Tower of Glass by Robert Silverberg is a good book on the subject.

You could also have a look at the films AI (based on Brian Aldiss short stories) and Android (1982).

    Asimov, I Robot.

Philip K. Dick, 'Do androids dream of electric sheep', made into the film Bladerunner.

There is a really good one with robin Williams called bicentenial man. You probably know of I robot which isn't exactly what you asked as far as point of view but bicentenial man is probably exactly what you are looking for if you haven't seen it.
