im really scared- world ending?
im freaking out i am so scared is the world going to end on december 21?!?!?! :(:( Im so freaked out and scared- is the rumor true? last night i had a dream that it didnt end and we were all happy- is that a sign?

The History:
The Mayan year ends on the 21st of December (first day of Winter) and 2012 is the end of their respective calender cycle.
Also:
The world was predicted to end in the years 1960, 1996, 1998, and 2000.
If that isn't enough:
People have found more Mayan calenders dating up to 2015.
Not to mention:
The Mayans didn't have leap years, so if the world were ending according to their calender it would have happened a few months ago.

It could be but me and my friend were talking about it today and my friend read somewhere that the ones who predicted the end of the world didn't actually predict the "end of the world" what they predicted was an eclipse which means the moon will be in front of the sun for 3 whole days! If there is no sun then plants will die and such. Anyway that is just what my friend told me! Could be right or wrong.

Who can say? Based on the past "TOMORROW IS THE END OF THE WORLD" scares, I'd wager this one turns out to be false, but who knows? Maybe the world is going to end tomorrow, or in a year. The only thing you can do is try to lead the kind of life that you are proud of.

basically they thought that because the myan people dies when they were writing there calender people thought that meant the world was going to end. its not rue and none of the calender matches up.
The world will not end in december 21st. we would have known by now.

Unless the ozone layer breaks, the economy dies, there's a WW3 in the next nine days, I don't think the world will be ending any time soon...

Of course it isn't true. How many times now have they said that the world will end on so and so date? Too many. They've said it too many times, and it's never came true. So why would it now?
