Character names for a story?
Hi! I'm going to write a story about a guy. The prologue is him killing his best friend, then killing himself. As he's dying, the rest of the story is a flashback of his life and how he met his best friend and everything that happened etc... Only now I need a name for him.
What I've got so far:
Him- He has asperger's syndrome and is very anti-social. He has an unusual unisex name that sounds for femenine than masculine and he gets picked on alot for it. He has icy blue eyes and his hair is dark brown, a sort of messy floppy bowlcut that covers his forehead. He often wears black.
Willow- Willow is his best friend who he kills. She has brown hair and brown eyes, and although very pretty is a bit of a tomboy. She is the only one in their class who doesn't pick on Him and becomes his friend. She becomes the only person he truly trusts and loves. She is very kind and caring and is somewhat of an older sister/motherly figure to Him, even though they are the same age. She defends him against everyone.
Ricky/Rory- the crazy, lovable nerdy guy who hangs out with Willow and Him. He is sort of an outcast, like Him, except he doesn't seem to mind. He is very innocent throughout the book and is friendly towards everyone. He forms a strong friendship with Him aswell as Willow, but not as strong. He is very carefree and funloving, but fiercly protective of his friends. Sometimes this can be bad as he is not the strongest fighter, and is bad at standing up to people. He is very sweet and caring, although he can be quite annoying at times. He has blond hair and blue-green eyes, and always wears a brightly coloured striped t-shirt with jeans. He is the comic relief most of the time, which makes his death quite possibly the saddest scene in the whole book, as I am hoping he will be that one character that everyone loves.
What I need help with now is a name for Him. It must be unisex, femenine and uncommon.
Also, should our little comic relief be called Ricky or Rory?
Thanks guys!

Naming a character should feel like a parent naming their children. You wouldn't give that task to anyone else (least of all strangers). I'm guessing you don't feel that strongly about your story.

His names-
Justice
Marion (Mary-in)
Leslie
Skylar
Dakota
Morgan
Mackenzie
Ashley
Jackie
Jaquee
Jules
Cassidy
Casey
Corbin
I personally think that Rory suits him better: it sounds quirkier.
Hope I helped!
