so obviously they're pretty big and there are certain laws about putting celebrities or famous names or quotes and mass producing them, 
surely there must be something wrong here, these arn't the type of guys to find susan boyle and ask for her permission to do this aha
so im just wondering unless they did it not caring whether they got caught and sued, any thoughts?

They don't need Susan Boyle's permission.  They just need the permission of whomever took the picture, as long as Susan Boyle gave him permission to take that picture and sell it.

If Susan Boyle never gave her release for that photo in any form, then she could sue them.
