Cerazette: How long should you bleed for while taking it?
Hi :)
So, I am 12 days into my second strip of Cerazette. I am two days away from having a period for 3 weeks, is this common? I got told by the doctor it would be likely I wouldn't have any periods on it, but that wasn't guaranteed. Don't get me wrong, it has been very light and pain free, but 3 weeks?! :/
I'm getting other problems (rashes and itching... Sorry if tmi) from having to use sanitary products constantly.
I have an appointment with the doctor on the 15th anyway as he wanted to see me this month to see how I'm getting on with it etc so I will be asking him about this (hopefully it will have stopped by then though, goodness me!), but I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this or similar?

I've previously been on Cerazette and this is completely normal. Its just your body getting used to it, so don't worry.
As for your rashes and itching, make sure you wash 2-3 times a day. After you're out the shower, this may sound daft but if you use tampons. Stick one in a cream the outter vagina area with some natural body cream. If you use pads, quickly get out the bath/shower and quickly do the same. It'll help stop the itching!
Don't be worried, but tell your doctor about your experience on this pill as it'll be good for him to know okay?

Your body is probably just adjusting, but it definitely isn't normal. I would call your doctor. He may just want you to come in a few days early.
