Okay, what are my chances of getting into UCLA and etc?
You know, it's getting to that point in high school where you just have to start thinking about THE FUTURE and what not.
Anyways, I would say I'm a decent student? I have a 3.6 GPA, I believe, and I've always had honors classes (except for math, but I'm in AP Calculus AB right now and I'm a junior so I'm pretty far ahead.) I've only really had a C in math for two semesters (and hopefully in this one too) and a C in my AP U.S. History class.
I haven't started volunteering, yeah I know I should get started on that. I haven't taken the SAT yet but I assume my scores will hopefully and maybe be above average.
I've heard my friends say that in order to get into schools like UCLA, UC's, and private universities you'd need a 4.0 GPA and way more, and so I'm just curious. I don't know, attending a CSU just seems so minuscule to me...
I think I'd like to major in psychology, if that means anything.
Thanks to anyone who answers!

I am sorry to say but you need a lot higher GPA and your SAT score needs to be at least 2100 or around there unless you are very lucky. Although you are in a higher math class, the Cs don't cut it and the C in Apush is not reflective of what UCLA wants. You should have volunteered earlier. You can probably get into UCR or if you work hard for these next to semesters UCI, which are very good schools too. But don't stress! Everybody is worried but you should want to get into a university that is at your level so that you won't be as stressed when you do get in because you are being compared to your peers who are at a higher level than you!

You do understand that regulation will not be an undergraduate important, and that UCLA does now not have an undergraduate industry program? You could have to fortify your SAT rating, exceptionally for UCLA, and i have no idea what your unweighted GPA can be. You do have some good extracurricular routine (however please make certain you spell it proper for your applications!). You are not totally out of variety, but it would be an extended shot with these two totally aggressive faculties. Make sure you've gotten some good backups.
