Showing turnout for mare and foal?

I am going to be doing some in hand classes with my mare and foal this summer but am unsure over the turnout as have only ever done a little ridden showing previously.

They are being shown in hunter classes.

What should the turnout for the handlers be?

What should the turnout for the mare and foal be?

Thank you

Update:

Thanks, if the foal is old enough they'll be doing one county show, the other 3 I hope to do will be more local than county level but it's all about experience for the foal as much as anything else.

I'll get her a flat bridle as hers is raised and stiched, nothing fancy but not hunter.

Is a pelham ok? She's never had a double on and is normally ridden in a pelham with double reins or would she be better in an eggbutt snaffle?

I have 2 handlers lined up - I can't run so am unable to do the showing myself :-(((((, a very experienced friend to handle the foal and a friend who is very willing to listen and learn to handle the mare (he gets on with her just isn't massively horsey)

For the handlers. White gloves. Helmet with hairnets if required (not for the man obviously unless he is a long haired lover from Liverpool!) matching hair colour. A smart suit or jodhpurs and shirt and tie with a dark jacket or hacking jacket. And shoes or boots that the handler can run in.

For the mare and foal. Snaffle bridle for the mare, with a plain noseband. Mare plaited unless she is a native breed. Clean, neat and tidy, you can either leave the tail free or plait it to show off her bum! Well shod if she is shod, well trimmed otherwise. All white bits whiter than white!

For the foal, a foal halter, bridles are only used on 4 year olds and above. If you can teach him or her to stand still long enough to be plaited so much the better. Otherwise same as mare, clean, neat and well trimmed.

If you are showing at County level then the mare should wear a double bridle - smaller shows a snaffle bridle will suffice. The foal should be shown in a leather foal slip with either a leather lead rein or a white lead rein (not a rope) The mare should have a plain browband in a hunter class - no bling!

Handlers - and there should be two of you, one for the mare and one for the foal, should be neat and tidy. Tweed jackets, shirt and tie. Either pale jodhpurs and short boots or light coloured slacks. Either a bowler hat, riding hat or a trilby though many do not wear hats at all.

    You should also wear gloves.
