How do I set up a wireless network?

I have a Samsung laptop running Windows 8. I have a HP 7520 eprint printer. I connect to the internet using a dongle, (that is the best way to get a signal in rural Ireland!). I do not have any sort of router. In order to be able to use the printer to its fullest extent, it needs to be able to connect to the internet. Can any of you computer wizards help me to set it all up please? i.e tell me what equipment I need and an idea of what to do. I am reasonably competent, but if you could make it easy for me! :-) Thanks for any help.

The simplest option would be a Mifi router such as this. Once set up you should be able to connect your laptop and printer by wifi

You set it up using the SIMM card from your dongle.

If you have a contract dongle already you may be better using a Mifi router supplied by the same mobile provider

You need a printer that has wireless capabilities, so all your devices talk to the dongle, for all intensive purposes that is the router or hotspot, otherwise look into cloud computing? Now you can get dongles that have a descent battery life and will run up to 5 devices. I an in AU travelling to England in September and I am looking fro a similar device to run an iPad and Laptop. I looked on the Huawei site that manufacturers all these, to see if I can buy one outright and unlock it and just buy a sim for the places I will be. I have been looking at one called "pocket Wi-Fi 2" in AU it is attached to Vodaphone ISP.

maximum routers incorporate very good setup classes. i will advise Linksys for this. a million) Plug your internet connection into your on the spot router. 2) Configure your router (setup handbook) 3) installation on the spot adapter on your laptop. 4) Configure your laptop.
