Weeping Angels from Doctor Who, getting less scary?
Do you feel that the Weeping Angels are getting less scary on Doctor Who, or is it just me?
What's your personal opinion of them?
Since they initially appeared in Blink, up until the more recent years I haven't found them scary much. Is this just me or do other people feel the same way?

I feel that the Angels are a bit over-used (They're seeming to be Moffat's go-to monster, like Davies did with the Daleks), but I don't think they're any less scary.
I personally enjoy them...and I love taking people to the cemetery down the street from my house. There are Several statues of Weeping Angels in there... scared so many friends there LOL

Yes, they are a bit scary, but not too dangerous... However i might say to start with "Blink" from season 3 earlier than you watch the season 5 ones. That's an notable episode, it has one of the most high-quality, most basic prices from the series, and it introduces the weeping angels. Just watch it with anybody the first time and also you will have to be exceptional even though you are just a little scared. :)

As they say familiarity breeds contempt. There have been plenty of good villains without using the same ones all the time. It was great to see the Ice Warriors back after nearly 40 years. We could have the Silurians, the Fendahl, the jagaroth come back.
