Las vegas Black Jack?

If you take to long to call or fold can the dealer pass you by as an automatic fold?

You fold a poker hand, not a blackjack hand.

In blackjack you either take a hit, stand, or bust (lose).

Some casinos offer an option called "surrender" which is to "fold" your hand but you only lose half your bet. When you fold in poker, you lose everything you've put in the pot.

Someone who is learning the game and playing slowly will be tolerated but anyone taking a really long time to decide whether or not to hit will be cashed in and told to leave if they're upsetting other players. If they're at a table by themselves they can be as slow as they want, within reason (if the dealer is supposed to go on a lunch break and the player holds him or her up for a half hour, that's unreasonable.)

I think it would be OK if your playing at a BJ table ALONE and not with people because they would probably start complaining about you're taking a long time.

No, but the pit boss can come over and ask you to speed up your play. If you don't do it they can ask you to leave.
