2002 impala fan not working?
ive ran a bypass (wire from battery to the fan) they both spin so motor is fine so what to do now testes I can do (diy) to figure out why its not running on its own both fans are not running the all time fan or the getting hot fan don't know what it is really called ...so all in all ive ran a bypass fans spin what do I need to do now and how what kind of parts might I need and where can I find the things to check on the car.
just went fiddling with it and it came on for about 3 seconds and cut back off both fans were running I tried flicking on the ac and nothing didn't come back on at all

Replace the sensor for your coolant, which is mounted in radiator. You can pick one up at Auto Zone and they can print off where the location is for you. messing with vehicles 49 yrs

Turn on the air conditioner and see if they run. There are relays and a fuse in the big fuse box under the hood that can go bad.
The fans aren't suppose to be on unless the engine is too hot or the A/C is on.
