Which assault rifles have a 3-round burst that fires all 3 round before you feel the recoil?

A few years ago, I saw this cool animation of the internal mechanism of various guns in action. There was an assault rifle that fired a burst of three rounds before the recoil to the whole gun. Can anyone hlep me identify this model (or models, if there are several)? I'm aware that there are many guns with a 3-round burst mode, but I'm talking specifically about the "3 rounds before the recoil" guns. Thanks

Update:

Just to clarify, I know that there would be some reaction the moment a round is fired, I'm not talking about that. I specifically mean an internal assembly which starts moving back with the first round, and loads and fires two more rounds (three in total) before it hits the back and transfers the full recoil to the gun.

I found one rifle that does it, but it's an non-production prototype, Heckler & Koch G11 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heckler_%26_Koch_G11

    Never heard of it.

I have heard that the new Russian assault rifle will fire 2 rounds before recoil is felt.

US M-16s were to have a 3 round burst, but the selector switch and system complexity stopped the project. I have seen a Russian article on a Ak with 3 modes of fire. single shot, full auto at 600 round per minute and a 3 round burst at 2000 rounds per minute for long range shooting with the 7.62x39 round. The rifle as described had a barrel link like a 1911.

  • that AK was not firing two shots "before you feel the recoil" but rather "before the kickup of the barrel happens".

simple physics say something about action and reaction. the moment the gunpowder goes boom, BOTH rifle and the bullet start moving.

    edit: it's actually AN

the key element of this setup is TWO receiver windows.. most assault rifles DON'T have moving /floating barrel. this one has a barrel moving backwards upon the first shot so that the receiver positions directly above the magazine to allow the rapid rechamber even before the barrel assembly reaches its rearmost position to kick against the butt.

Never heard of one that does what you are asking. The only one close that I know of would be the Russian AN-94. It has a two round burst that supposedly is before the recoil, but I have never fired one to say for sure.

Your trying to rewrite physics..... Cool animation or not, there is recoil after the first round is fired. I have no idea what your watching or of a weapon that has magic abilities.

Don't know - we don't use assault rifles in the military. We use main battle rifles.

EDIT: thumbs down all you want; the US military does not use the term 'assault rifle' to doctrinally refer to any weapon we use.
