Will throwing up help?

I have a productive cough and I've had it for a while now. I can't breathe easily and have to think about breathing constantly or else I just wont breathe. I feel like I am suffocating. I am not asthmatic and have no access to an inhaler right now.

I was wondering if making myself throw up might help? It might get all the mucus out but I'm not sure. I've tried coughing a lot to get it out but it just stays at the back of my throat and I automatically swallow it again.

I don't know if this would help but just in case, I am a 14 year old girl, 5ft 2.

Thanks c:
