How do dividends work and how do you make money off of them?

    Dividends ARE money! They are paid by corporations to their shareholders, sometimes quarterly, sometimes semi-annually, and sometimes annually. Sometimes corporations don't pay dividends, and that can be from a variety of reasons. Dividends are taxable income to the recipients.

    when a company has a gain after taxes of 100 money and the outstanding shares are 1 000 example

    and you have one share in this company then 100 / 1000 *1 = ten moneycent before dividendtaxes

    let say the dividendtax is 30% then wil this person gets seven moneycent on the broker account

    when dividend is payd in shares the company says some days how many shares one persons should have to receive one whole share partial shares donot exist in common shares

    when 63 shares means one whole share and that amount where hold on the ex date

    the options the persons says cash

    or in shares

    having less or more means you should look for a message like no trading in stock dividend some big investors buy those small parts

    for dividend and Drip read yourself those information about dividend payments stocks held by investors in english spoken countries offer it
