Food ideas for a Halloween buffet?

I'm just doing appetizers and snacks myself this year. BBQ Meatballs,deviled eggs,vegetable tray,cheese ball with crackers. Then chips with dip,pickles,olives etc. And for desserts super easy too with just cookies and popcorn balls.

But you could do something totally different and have a theme. Italian with spaghetti and meatballs,a taco bar or a potato bar. It's all up to you - your budget and what you like to eat - and of course what you know your family likes to eat.

For me when I plan I like to think about what's going to be good but also easier for me. Things that can easily be kept cold or hot for the duration of the party. So I'm not constantly running back into the kitchen. It's so you can enjoy your party and not basically feel like the wait staff lol..

Candy apples are fun as part of an Autumn buffet, they are in season, and you can get creative with different dips and toppings, such as chocolate dip with crushed reeses peanut butter cups, caramel and chocolate with sea salt sprinkles, caramel and crushed oreo cookies, or whatever creations or options you come up with.
