Alpha Romeo MiTo 1.6 Diesel what is it like for commuting?

I'm thinking of getting a MiTo 1.6 Diesel. I have looked at reviews on You Tube and seen that opinion varies quite a lot. It's got to be the 1.6 Diesel as the other model does not have the suspension upgrade as standard.

Basically I'd like the oppinion of owners regarding what it's like as a day-to-day running car. How close can you get to the stated MPG ratings, what is it really like on roads etc.

    Not suitable for low speed shorter journey work as it wrecks the depollution filter

    Hi the electrics are rubbish as it's an ALPHA ROMEO
